Many clients with long-term vision are not interested in trading crypto assets due to their volatility and uncertainty, leading to lower volume of managed assets within the platform.Clients are not confident in holding their assets waiting only for market volatility, and are missing out on potential gains from this type of asset.To address this problem, we analyzed issues from the customer support team as well as received direct feedback from our clients through interviews and surveys. We identified an opportunity to solve one of the biggest pains in our client's journey by offering a passive income solution to their digital assets and impacting their portfolio performance.
To take advantage of the high growth of new Decentralized Financial projects related to crypto assets, we started offering the possibility to generate passive income from crypto assets by Staking them. The client can stake their assets while waiting for the best market opportunity to trade assets, thereby reducing the risk of volatility.
We quickly validated the assumption that passive income could improve their confidence to trade crypto assets by building and iterating prototypes. The key feature was a reward simulator that allows clients to know in advance the potential earnings from staking.
As a result, we increased the volume of crypto assets traded and the share of crypto assets compared to other assets offered. Clients are now more confident in holding and trading crypto assets, leading to increased satisfaction and portfolio performance.
